American Apparel

American Apperal is one of the brands I really like. The clothing is simple, colourful and bit different it also has a bit of a vintage look. Four things I like a lot lately.

How much I like this brand it's a bit expensive, unfortunately. But it's quite simple so if I want I can sew it myself or well, my mum.

Can't it be summer already?

I so can not wait for the summer. Spending some time at the beach and doing some 'fashion' photoshoots. Wearing cute dresses, skirts, shorts and more.

Take me back in time

Sometimes I wish I lived in the 50s. I love stars like Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and James Dean.
To me Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn are some kind of icons. They both have something that has my interest. Maybe the bit of mystery, 'cause their acting career and stuff was before I born.
I would do anything just to spend just one day with them and learn from them. I think I can learn a lot from Marilyn and she's to me a great role model and the same goes for Audrey Hepburn.

The 50s is something that really interests me, I love the dresses and the cloths they were around that time. I'm thinking about doing an inspired Marilyn outfit this week. Oh and also my birthday outfit is coming up next.

Lookbook update: Being me

I'm still trying to figure out what I want. I've talked a lot about my study with my mum and I think I'm gonna 'quit' well not really quitting but changing to Photography assistant so I can graduate this year. And then do a fashion styles study or something.
Anyway reason of blogging. I made a new outfit, I know it's quite simple but I'm in the mood for more simple outfits lately.

I'm not really a scarf girl, 'cause I got the feeling I choke when I'm wearing something around my neck. But I don't have it with this one. The blazer is one of my faves.

Photography or fashion?

Last week was the London Fashion Week. One thing I really want to do before I die (and let's hope that would be when I'm a 80 year old woman) to go to the London Fashion Week and the one in Paris and New York. I know I live in Holland and we have Amsterdam Fashion Week here too, but I'm never so excited about it than the ones in London, New York, Paris and Milan.

Oh I'm also thinking of switching from study. Currently I'm studying photography as you might know, I love it, really I do but it's not really my passion any more. And fashion is and I always loved it and putting outfits together, not only for mu but also for others. I'm helping my best friend with picking her outfits, btw check out her blog here. So I'm probable gonna switch from a photography study to a fashin (stylist) study, if I can find something of course.

Nailpolish update: Green and Pink

Last week I got a bit bored and I didn't know what to do and when I have things like this I paint my nails and do some nail art with it. Anyway, I got bored and I made this:

I like to have both hands different from each other so this is what I got. I really need to try different things, I get bored so easily when I have my nails like this for 2-3 days. So what shall I do next? ATM I made my nails leopard print, I'll post a photo tomorrow, promise. Oh and feel free to leave a comment!

Outfit update: "I'm just a girl"

A few weeks ago I bought this golden hotpants. I finally managed to came a nice outfit with it. Together with my new boots, which I LOVE! The outfit is a bit simple, but it makes the pants the most important and it was my intention.
